Stockholm: (Life in Lappis)
There is a unique tradition in Lappis(or Lappkärrsberget): Every Tue 10pm, people will shout out of their window. It's like hearing your HDB neighbours shouting goal in a football match or the "yam seng" cheer during our Chinese celebration dinners. I find it quite amusing to hear people staying above, below or even in the opposite blocks shouting in unison or after one another.
Most of the time I cook my meals with Henry. But sometimes, Minrui will join us. Eating pancakes above.
Floor party. It usu lasts till 3am. There's hell lot of cleaning to do the next morning, especially the cigarette ashes littering all over the floor.
French Celine who loves to bake all kinds of bread and Norwegian Victoria who so kindly organize a floor Taco dinner
Once in a while, we'll have a potluck dinner together with the other Chinese from Taiwan and China(including Macau & Hongkong).
Certainly heartwarming to have so many people to have dinner together
Splendid feast. Curry! (by Isabel)
Chocolate cake (by Han) for Bel's 21st b'day
Everyone's a good chef here.
In Singapore, U get to see fireworks only on National day.
But here, I've chanced upon 2 fireworks from my room. No idea what's the occasion.
Lan Gaming.
On the left is Fredrick, a friendly Swede who hopes to become a English teacher in Asia 1 day. On the right is Koohan, a real funny Korean.
Koohan's room is a blast! He basically turned the hostel room into his home room, with music CDs, 2 computers, TV, PS2, Xbox....
Anyway, this is interesting: Stockholm Syndrome
